YouTube API Services and Google User Data

Hamzah Academy uses an internal tool, "Hamzah Academy YouTube Manager", to manage our own YouTube channel (@hamzahacademy). This tool uses the YouTube API Services. By using our YouTube channel and features connected to it, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

What data the tool accesses. With the channel owner's authorization, the tool accesses Hamzah Academy's own YouTube channel data: video titles, descriptions, tags, playlists, upload settings, channel analytics (such as views and watch time), and public comments posted on our videos, including the commenter's public display name.

How we use it. We use this data only to manage and grow the Hamzah Academy channel: uploading videos, editing video details, organizing playlists, moderating and replying to comments, and reviewing channel performance. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties, except as required by law.

Storage and security. Authorization tokens and working copies of channel data are stored on a secured, access-restricted system used only by Hamzah Academy. We keep channel data only as long as it's needed for these purposes, and we delete stored copies within 30 days once they are no longer needed.

Limited Use. Hamzah Academy's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access. Access granted to this tool can be revoked at any time through the Google security settings page. To ask about or request deletion of data related to your comments on our channel, contact us using the details on this page.
